Uuno’s Graphics Into a Tube Scarf

Uuno Palosaari is a 17-year old developmentally disabled young artist from Oulu, whose hobby is to create colorful and happy graphics on his phone. Uuno is self taught into this form of art. Uuno’s cards have been sold by Marttaliitto, and his art has been up on an exhibition at a cafe, and on the walls of congregation of Oulu. Uuno has also illustrated a book (Siunaa just nyt, Kirjapaja 2021), and his work and life story is made into a book.

The cooperation with MyHappyLogo started when Uuno’s mother came across the company’s website, and asked to design a tube scarf from Uuno’s art work. As a form of a summer job, Uuno got to sell few of the scarfs to others, and they were then given to friends and family as gifts. Uuno wrote a card with every tube scarf given, saying “Warmth to you! From Uuno”. When there were no more tube scarfs left, another patch of scarfs were ordered for Christmas stockings. People love Uuno’s joyful graphics. His life story is told i.e in a blog called Elämänmausta tinkimättä.
